Mario is hands down, one of the best designers I’ve had the pleasure to work with. We worked together on several features to release an MVP, beta and V1 release of a new logistics freight forwarding platform: Shippabo View. He always starts with understanding the problem needing solved through existing research or conducting his own before moving to build out workflows, wireframes and low fidelity mockups. After iterating, he would have polished, high fidelity designs, complete with documentation to hand off to our engineers. Mario’s visual design skills are unmatched. He played a major role in defining the Shippabo View brand and styling through new and existing components. His visual design skills are seen in just about every aspect of the product today. Aside from UX and UI skills, Mario is a great collaborator, both in our design team as well as in other departments like Operations and of course, Engineering. He’s always in consistent communication with engineers, making sure he and they understand what is and is not feasible and how to best approach a great solution if there are limitations or considerations. Overall, Mario is a fantastic designer, employee and culture addition. Any organization would be very lucky to have him on their team.
